Mercedes-Benz is getting ready for the S-Class

German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has a lot of work to do lately. So far, they have released two body styles for their S-class and there are five left until they can rest for a while. The Germans plan to expand the range of the flagship series to include a total of seven different models. As you already know, the carmaker has revealed two of the seven planned for the S-class, the regular and the long wheelbase sedans. What comes next is not really sure, but until now we had the opportunity to see different styles like limousine prototypes, but also coupe variants that will replace the current CL-Class models. Different rumors also indicate that there might also be a 4-seater convertible or maybe two if the sedan cabriolet one turns out to be true. In the gallery below you have the chance to see several spy photos on the new Mercedes-Bens S-Class Coupe. The model has been spotted on public roads during a walk. The new entry in the luxury four-seat coupe segment will have a sportier looking body and lines in comparison to the car it replaces. This was possible to because of its proportions and thanks to a narrower glasshouse with a more sloping rear windscreen. The S-Class sedan models will have a lot of engine, technological, safety and comfort elements that start from heated armrests and several hundred LEDs in the cabin and for the exterior lights. There is also the Magic Ride Control system that uses the cameras that scan the road to adjust suspension settings. These will be shared with the S-Class sedan models. The Coupe will be powered by powerful V8 and v12 units capable of reaching around 630 horsepower. The carmaker will probably present it officially in 2014. Source: carscoops
