Dodge Journey planned for 2016

When you say Dodge, you automatically think of an American symbol that is now considered a legend. It might be said that Dodge is America’s fastest growing brand, and it is a fact that Americans are keen on their national vehicles. The company is a complex one, manufacturing all kinds of vehicles, from SUVs to sports cars. Dodge Journey is one of their most desired crossovers. It was introduced to the public in 2008. However, a big come back is not expected before 2016.

The 2016 Dodge Journey will be manufactured in Sterling Heights, Michigan. It will be based on the CUSW platform, the same one being found in the Dodge Dart, Jeep Cherokee and the 2015 Chrysler 200. The officials in Dodge chose Michigan as a manufacturing plant for the Journey in the hope of reducing building costs. Still, the strategy could have a weak point because the vehicles exported from the U.S.A. are submitted to higher taxes.

Wherever it is driven, the Dodge Journey offers comfort for the ride of maximum seven people. It takes the premium leather-trimmed interior and the latest technology to even the most remote locations. This vehicle’s only limits seem to be physics, gravity, time and the owner’s imagination. It is one of the safest cars in the world, with over 50 safety and security elements placed on it, such as electronic stability control, trailer sway control, and rear cross path detection and all help ensure that the drive won't be unintentionally exciting. The actual fleet of the Journey is made out of 5 models which come in two engine configurations. The information about the next generation Dodge Journey is limited until now, but time will offer us more news.
