As time passes, car manufacturers develop more and more and establish new standards in building quality vehicles characterized by performance. It is true that there are many car makers in the world, but each one of them has a well defined segment of population to target, and there are people keen on a certain brand. This is why a fan of the Kia Brand imagined how a Kia pro cee’d GT cabrio version could look like.

The first time Kia cee’d appeared was in 2007. That was the moment when Peter Schreyer, a designer in the company, has imagined the ex cee’d concept, back then a three door pro cee’d coupe.  As the Korean company was uncertain about its market, the concept never made it into becoming touchable. However, since then, things have become better for the firm and there aren’t obstacles in launching a convertible, which might be a true success with a great balance between quality and price.

As a reminder, the Kia pro cee’d GT has been released at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. It is powered by a 1.6-liter GDi turbocharged engine producing 204 HP (150 kW) and 195 lb-ft (265 Nm) linked to front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. The three-door pro cee'd GT coupe benefits of a 1st Edition variant limited to 500 units.  The car has a few interior and exterior enhancements, sunroof, adaptive xenon headlights, satellite-navigation system and automatic air conditioning. The image designed by the Kia fan looks quite interesting, but it remains to be seen if it is suggestive and inspiring for the company.
