Volvo selles its last C30 in a Twitter Competition

Volvo has announced us that their C30 has reached the end of the road. After seven years of production, the company managed to sell 210.000 units, but this was it. The model was launched in 2006 and came with a great design that made it almost instantly easy to recognize in its class and not only. To be more precise, we are actually talking about the rear end which came with an all-glass hatch that was a tribute to its predecessor, the 480. This model had as inspiration in the LCP 2000 concept which we have mentioned a few days ago.  The C30 began its journey in 2001 at the Detroit Motor Show, with the launch of the Volvo Safety Concept Car. The series production model was launched in 2006 at the Paris Motor Show in September. The model had a SCC-influenced shape and design. So that you know, it used the same platform as the S40 / V50 family. Actually, the front end of the C30 is identical to the S40 sedan and with the V50 wagon. Volvo will offer the last unit in the country, a white R-Design C30 with Polestar upgrade. The vehicle will be offered as the prize in a Twitter competition under the name of LastEverC30. The journey will begin on the 13th of June at 7 AM. Then, the C30 R-Design with Polestar upgrade departs from Sweden heading towards the UK. It will go into a specific are over the next two days. According to the carmaker, each tweet posted sing the hashtag #LastEverC30 will bring the model closer to the UK. These tweets will enter automatically in the competition. Participants will have to unlock the exact location of the car by solving four clues and this will happen on the 15th. They will have to get there and complete the final task.
