TVR brought back to life

The history of TVR Automotive Ltd. was not a common one. It has its ups and downs, and now it seems to be back in the game of the field. Until 2006 it was headquartered in Britain, Lancashire. It used to be the third largest specialized sports car manufacturer in the world. In 2004 Nicolai Smolenski bought the British company and together they were struck by the economical crisis which set the company under shade. The latest news is that the Russian business man sold TVR to Les Edgar. And then…surprise! The message “never say never” appeared on the company’s website. And this can only suggest that a resurrection of the brand is being prepared.

Les Edgar is a British entrepreneur famous for reinventing Astor Martin and for placing it in the world of GT racing again. Having this experience, the success of TVR is sure to come. The guy has many plans and ideas and he is sure the mistakes from the past won’t happen again. ”Never say never” has been replaced with “Thunderous news! The distant rumble of rumour has turned to thunder and TVR is back in Britain!” However, there is no news regarding the future TVR model which is sure to respect the company’s heritage and Britishness.
