Nissan Juke updated in matter of engine configuration

The motto that guides the Japanese company Nissan is that the power comes from inside. A vehicle is an interesting symbol of freedom, status and personal achievement. This is exactly why the company keeps thinking of various ways to satisfy as many clients as possible. The latest news coming from the brand is an update of the Nissan Juke which has just been modified by the mother company.

The upgraded Nissan Juke is powered by a 1.5 dCi engine that produces 81kW (110hp) and 260Nm of torque. Compared to the base version, the updated crossover has an increased torque with 20Nm.The CO2 emissions are now lowered to just 109 g/km while the combined fuel consumption is 4.2 liters / 100 km (56 mpg US / 67 mpg UK).

The Nissan Juke received some new piezo-electric fuel injection nozzles and now faces a more responsive, low-inertia variable geometry turbocharger which is made functional by a more direct air intake path. The vehicle has been equipped with a new thermostatically-controlled variable displacement oil pump, low friction enhancements like diamond-like carbon coatings, and also Nissan's start/stop system which will restart the engine within 0.5s after the clutch is pressed. Part SUV, part sports car, Juke breathes new life into the traditionally conservative B-segment of the market, providing buyers with a funky alternative to the conventional urban hatchback. Maybe this is exactly the reason why Nissan is offering so much attention to the Juke.
