Koenigsegg Agera S beats price record in Singapore

The Swedish company Koenigsegg is focused only on performance. Every single detail of a Koenigsegg car is somehow related to the company’s continuing aim, to enhance vehicle performance. This is illustrated in everything they do. Everything is significant. The way they use their raw materials, the people working there, the setup of the facilities, the software, tools, systems and maintenance. Every aspect of the manufacturing process targets performance. A high performance vehicle is the Koenigsegg Agera S.

It is officially certain that the Koenigsegg Agera S is the most expensive car ever sold in Singapore, as somebody paid the sum of 5.3M SGD (about 4.2M USD) to have one of the supercars in the garage. The car is powered by a twin-turbo V8 5.0-liter engine rated at 1,040 bhp (775 kW) at 7,100 rpm and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque at 4,100 rpm. It needs just 2.9 seconds to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h), while 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) is done in 7.9 seconds in its way to a maximum speed of more than 248.5 mph (400 km/h). The supercar is able to run the 0-200kmh-0 in just 12.8 seconds and 22.7 seconds for the 0-300kmh-0 procedure.

The Koenigsegg Agera S has certain features that make it special among other cars. For instance, it has a 44:56 weight distribution and an 80-liter fuel tank. It is 4293mm long, 1996mm wide and 1120mm tall, having a 2662mm wheelbase. The power is taken to wheels with the help of a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox and an electronic differential. It sits on carbon fiber 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloys wrapped in bespoke Michelin Supersport tires. Stopping power is provided by ventilated ceramic discs. The vehicle is built to provide supreme satisfaction to its customers. And it should do it even to justify its price.
