Fiat 500 L Living gets seven seats and best-in-class volume capacity

Launched as a cheap and practical town car, the famous Fiat 500 has quite a long history. From 1957 when the model was first ever produced till nowadays with some blank periods when the production was stopped, the small city car fulfilled the demands of its customers. The modern Fiat 500 started its real debut in 2007 along with the 50th anniversary of the 500's launch. Since then the Italian model has increased its dimensions and the company is now presenting the seven-passenger Fiat 500L Living.

The 500L Living version has grown into a whole family car and follows on from the five-seats standard 500L. The extended length version is named "Magic Purpose Wagon" by the Fiat manufacturer. Regarding the design, the 500L Living is keeping the style like the standard car but it now measures 435 cm length, 178 cm wideness and 167 cm height. Offering seats for seven persons, the model has a new third row of seats that seems to fold relatively flat. The 500L Living has a best-in-class volume capacity of 638 liters (22.5 cubic feet) and that comes with the rear seats folded.

As the Fiat got us used to, a lot of engine choices are available. Among them we have the 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo petrol with 105 HP (77 kW), 1.4-liter petrol with 95 HP (70 kW), 1.3-liter MultiJet II diesel with 85 HP (62 kW) and the 1.6-liter MultiJet II diesel with 105 HP (77 kW). If Fiat 500L Living draws your attention stay tuned until next month when the model will be introduced. If the 500L Living will be a best seller only the clients will decide but until then the Fiat brand is surely developing new 500 attractive versions.
