Maserati new style guiding lines for the next GranTurismo and GranCabrio

The Italian luxury car manufacturer which uses a trident emblem has big plans for the future. As you may guess it is Maserati that wants to increase sales massively. Starting with 2015 Maserati will feature a new style guiding line for the GranTurismo and GranCabrio. This information comes from Edmunds through its company insiders sources.

The new styling language will start with next-gen GranTurismo and GranCabrio and it will look more like a 2+2 rather than the nowadays four-seater versions. The brand’s officials are sure that this will be a successful solution for clients who are looking for a superfast four-seater that has almost the same dimensions as the GranTurismo. The recently launched Ghibli, the Maserati Quattroporte sedan and the upcoming Levante SUV all feature similar characteristics. This reducing size of the rear seat solution will provide more compact style and at the same time it will increase dynamics.

Maserati is a powerful name in sport car manufacturers and the CEO Harald Wester wants to take advantage of this by introducing new limited-edition models. The exclusivist Italian brand expects of a serious sales increasing units from under 7,000 units to 50,000 by 2015.
