Kia plans to expand the GT fleet

In time, car manufacturers develop more and more and establish new standards in building quality vehicles characterized by performance. It is true that there are many car makers in the world, but each one of them has a well defined segment of population to target, and there are people keen on a certain brand. Kia is one of the producers that are becoming more and more successful. The company is thinking of expanding the GT lineup in the following years.

Kia has not long ago introduced two Kia Pro_cee’d models on the U.K. market. The basic Kia pro_cee'd costs around 17, 495 GBP and rides on 16-inch alloys, having automatic lights with follow-me-home, electric windows, cruise control, electrically-operated, heated and folding door mirrors, trip computer and rear parking sensors. And if this will turn out to be a company triumph, some GT models will come. Maybe a Kia Rio GT will also be manufactured with the goal of challenging opponents such as the Peugeot 208 GTi and Ford Fiesta ST. The price could make the difference.

Although the GT version of the Kia Pro_cee’d is not a sure fact yet, if it were built it would be powered by a 1.6-liter T-GDi turbocharged engine that could be increased more than the current 201 bhp (150 kW) mark. Until suppositions come true we need to focus on how sales go with the Pro_cee’d in the U.K.
