Toyota FCV scheduled for Tokyo Motor Show

Toyota Motor Corporation is a Japanese company that has high expectations. It has unique ideas to design amazing cars and to satisfy even the most difficult client. And innovation could anytime be its nickname as new ideas are always developed. Such a project is the Toyota hydrogen cell vehicle at which Toyota has been thinking since 2009.

Toyota seems pretty keen on developing and working on alternative powered vehicles. According to the officials there in the future there will be three types of cars. Inside the city people will use electric vehicles and outside there will be either electric hybrid cars or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The Toyota FCV is expected to be presented at the Tokyo Motor Show this November.

The Toyota FCV could enter the auto market in 2014. The sedan might cost somewhere around $70,000 (€53,660) and it will have a range of 300 miles (483 km). Information regarding the future car lacks although it was anticipated by the FCV-R Concept introduced at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. The upcoming vehicle could borrow the fuel cell stack with a 70 MPa high-pressure hydrogen tank from the concept car. We’ll see if people are opened to new things in November.
