Nissan Altima Coupe production to be stopped

Nissan is a quite familiar name for the car fans worldwide. It is associated with Japan, a place where there are appropriate conditions for automakers to develop their business. And Nissan has become in time a respectable brand with clear orientation towards satisfying even the most difficult customers. But there is a time when one should accept defeat and it is the case with the Nissan Altima Coupe.

The Nissan Altima Coupe has been created to impress buyers aged between 20 and 30. The car was introduced in 2007 and since then there wasn’t a single moment when it might have reached the producer’s sales expectations. It seems that driving a coupe is not as fashionable as it used to be. And at least regarding the Altima Coupe, this holds true as the sales were poor and the public interest has always kept low. So, the production of the model will probably be stopped soon.

Although the Nissan Altima Coupe will be cut off, two other low-volume Nissans will be still kept. They are the Cube and the Murrano CrossCabriolet. They are not some great sellers either, but they are offered another chance. The coupe’s days at Nissan are apparently numbered, although there are other brands that are still successful in this segment such as the Audi, the BMW or Honda.
