Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corsa spied

Automobili Lamborghini, the more than famous Italian company, was founded in 1963, so doing a little calculus we figure out it celebrates 50 years of existence. During all these years they have been manufacturing the most wanted and innovative cars in the world. One of them is the Lamborghini Gallardo. Although more updates have been done on the vehicle in time and a lot of special editions have been released, people are eagerly waiting for the Gallardo successor.

There a few photos currently available on the Internet which present a mysterious prototype called the Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corsa. There is almost no information regarding this supercar except these spy photos that indicate to a facelift version of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Stradale. The camouflage allows us to notice a redesigned front bumper and some updated side skirts. The vehicle is also equipped with a prominent rear wing and a sporty rear diffuser.

The so-called Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corsa quite resembles the Gallardo GT3 Squadra Corse, so the car will probably receive another name from its manufacturer once it comes out to light. It will more likely be powered by one of the firm’s V10 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated engine which should produce somewhere around 600 bhp (447 kW) and 541 Nm (400 lb-ft). But all these are suppositions made based on a few spy shots. Hopefully, more information will soon emerge to enlighten the public.
