Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept present at the Pebble Beach event

When it was first founded, in 1880, Spyker manufactured carriages in the origin country, The Netherlands. It was only in 1898 when the first Benz-engined motorcar has been created. It was an immediate success thanks to the craftsmanship of its bodywork. The history of the Dutch company was an oscillating one. For a long while it even ceased to exist but in 2000 it was brought back to life. And it is about to surprise people with the new Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept which will be introduced at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The 2014 Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept is meant to mark the global resurgence of Spyker as a creator of meticulously built automobiles whose beauty is equaled by their unrivaled craftsmanship. The vehicle offers a unique alternative in the High Luxury Sports sector. The supercar will have a carbon fiber body, an aluminum chassis and a mid-mounted V6 engine producing 375HP (276 kW). The 2014 coupe version of the Venator will enter production next year and it will then reach markets from Asia, Europe, India and the Middle East. U.S. will probably receive the sports car by the end of 2014 with a price around $150,000.
