Mountune going to the US market

A quite long time ago, Ford officially became partner with the European tuning company, Montune, which is keen on upgrading the Ford Focus and the Ford Fiesta models.  Mountune road car products are designed and developed by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, the drivers that want just that little bit more without sacrificing quality, driveability and resale value. And if Ford is continuously trying to win new markets, why should its tuning friend have a rest? So, Mountune has officially stated that it has plans to expand in the U.S.A.

Ford has recently enough launched the Ford Fiesta ST and also the Ford Focus ST in America, already beginning to receive orders from customers. This can only be a good sign that green lights the entrance of Mountune, the official Ford tuner, on the American market. It is logical to think that there will come a time when the Fiesta and Focus owners will feel the need to personalize their acquisitions. That will be the perfect moment when Mountune will offer support, guidance and assistance.

Mountune did nou offer any information regarding what tuning elements will be available in the U.S., but there will surely be engine upgrade packages for the Ford Fiesta and Focus models. Just as a reminder, Mountune can upgrade the Fiesta in such a way that it generates 215 HP (158 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque and the Focus ST can be tuned to output 275 HP (202 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Not later than this month, Mountune will also launch its website in the U.S.A
