Chevrolet offers a gauge cluster to the Corvette Stingray

In case you are not up to date with the information regarding the advanced cluster display found in the 2014 Corvette Stingray which can provide up to 69 unique sources of information. Here we have to mention a performance timer and also a tire tread temperature display. Thanks to the crisp and bright display elements this information can be easily accessed through three configurable models. Details for daily commuting, weekend canyon carving and track events are information that are easy to access. The 8-inch liquid-crystal display screen is in the center of the cluster and it is flanked by three analog gauges for speed, fuel level and engine-coolant temperature. This is organized into sport, tour and track themes that change with the Driver Mode Selector. The engineers have designed each display theme for a specific driving scenario. As expected it can only be configured through applications. We have prepared for you ten configurable display elements that will help drivers know the new capabilities of the Corvette Stingray. The first one refers to the Tour theme which is displayed when the car is in Weather, Eco or Tour drive mode. As you can see yourself, this is a very modern display and that it provides essential vehicle information. The Sport theme is designed to recall the classic sports-car experience thanks to a radial tachometer that dominates the display. The Adjustable redline has features with an adjustable redline that indicates the suggested maximum engine speed as low as 3.500 rpm, but this when the engine is cold. The Track theme offers information for a successful track outing. The Shift lights illuminate from the outside-in. Friction-bubble / cornering force allows the driver to measure how close they are to the limits of the car. Next we have to mention the acceleration timer which enables the driver to measure any acceleration run, from a traditional 0-60 mph to acceleration from 70-100 mph in top gear. Last, we have the Lap timer that shows previous and best lap times.
