Subaru WRX might show up at the L.A. Auto Show

Subaru, the automobile manufacturing division of the Japanese company Fuji Heavy Industries, has not long ago presented the 2013 Subaru WRX Concept. The event took place at the New York auto show, this year. Well, apparently, the company sticks to the American continent and its plans are to launch the production model at the Los Angeles Auto Show, in November.

Subaru is famous worldwide for using the boxer engine layout in most of its vehicles above 1500 cc and also for the use of all wheel drive train layout which have become the standard equipment for the brand’s cars.  Subaru WRX is no exception. There will be available just the sedan version of the car, which will go on sale starting the beginning of the following year.

The new Subaru will most likely be powered by a 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine outputting a minimum of 265 bhp (198 kW) for the WRX and 305 bhp (227 kW) for the STI. Subaru has great plans in updating models such as the XV Crosstrek, the BRZ, the Forester and the Impreza. Their failure Tribeca is going to be replaced by a brand new seven seat SUV, which hopefully will have more success. For now, these are only rumors and if they get to become true, only time will tell.
