Ford has recently announced the introduction of the 2014 Ford F-150 STX SuperCrew and the STX Sport Package to the F-150 lineup.
The 2014 Ford F-150 STX SuperCrew model will slot in between the XL and XLT models.
The F-150 STX SuperCrew standard will come equipped with a 3.7L V6 engine capable of pumping out 302 horsepower, 278 lb-ft of torque version., The truck can also be optioned with a more powerful 5.0L V8 developing 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to offering a full-size back seat with two extra doors, the 2014 STX SuperCrew includes upgrades like body-color exterior accents, 17-inch wheels, cruise control, air conditioning, cloth seats and an outside temperature display.
The SuperCrew gives the STX line a third body style, adding to the regular cab and super cab offerings. It features extra interior space, four full-sized doors and cloth seats.
Ford also announced that they will be adding an STX Sport appearance package to its STX lineup. The STX Sport package includes 20-inch machined aluminum painted wheels, a black grille and black running boards.
The Ford F Series have increased their sales by a whopping 22%. Doug Scott, Ford truck group marketing manager, stated that "With the rapidly expanding full-size pickup market continuing to benefit from economic growth and replacement demand, price-conscious buyers are returning looking for an affordable truck with space, capability and style. Adding the Ford F-150 STX SuperCrew and the new STX Sport package to our 2014 lineup gives these truck shoppers more value-oriented F-150 models to consider."
Prices for the 2014 F-150 STX SuperCrew will start from $33,145 for a 4x2 version with a V6 engine, with the 4x4 V8 carrying an MSRP of $37,570. Adding the Sport Package will set buyers back another $980.
