Maserati receives help with orders from Quattroporte and Ghibli

Italian carmaker Maserati is doing very well in terms of sales as they are enjoying now the success that came after the introduction of the entry-level Ghibli sedan and the all-new Quattroporte revealed at the beginning of this year. Before releasing the two models, the carmaker invested EUR1.2 billion and as it turns out their efforts are finally paying off. Apparently, the carmaker received approximately 17.000 orders worldwide in the first seven months of this year. This means that there sales are almost three times more than all 2012 sales. Apparently, for Maserati, The North American market keeps being the largest market in the world. Now, China has taken the lead for several models like, for instance, the Quattroporte. This is what Maserati CEO Harald Wester declared in a report. The new Quattroporte has a starting price of EUR110.000 and it is responsible for almost half of the orders. The price for the new Ghibli entry-level sedan was established to start at EUR66.000 and these models also contributes to the final result. Apparently in terms of global sales, the specialists have registered 14.159 worldwide for the Quattroporte and 2.249 for the second one. In July alone, the carmaker added around 3.000 orders which is quite impressive. The Ghibli will arrive in dealerships starting this month and well, you already know the Maserati Quattroporte is already on sale since the beginning of this year. The manufacturer wants to sell 15.000 in 2015 and this means 6.288 more units in comparison to last year. Maserati is now also working on the new Levante.
