Fuel frauds have increased due to increased prices

In the US, fuel prices are still under control, but in Europe, the situation is a bit different. The prices are now very high and in fact have increased by 50 % since 2009 in some cases and this why a lot of people have reached their limits and weird things start to happen. A report was made public and according to it, this situation has been on the map for quite some time now, but no official numbers have been released. The reason for this happening is the economical crisis that is affecting the entire Europe, with no exception. Car owners try to save as much money as possible despite the small earnings and still have money for fuel. These prices are why the black market shows up. There are different sources able to provide the same product or even service at lower prices, completely forgetting about the legal part of the business. Lithuanian and Poland are two lucky countries as are close to Russia, where, by the way, the price of the fuel is half in comparison to Europe, people are fighting to obtain cheaper stuff. In Lithuania, people have actually admitted to have bought cheaper fuel illegally. There are ways to steal fuel from their local refineries and then sell it for less money on the local market. There is a hole in excess of $4 billion in terms of taxes so far. There is a logical explication for this situation as there are a lot of people that have lost their jobs lately and now have to pay a lot of money for fuel as well. In a way we do know that car owners have the right to pay just as much for fuel as any other owner on the globe.
