Nokia develops new technologies

A few months ago, in November last year to be more precise, Nokia appeared on the market with a cloud-based mapping service called Here for smart phones. The interesting thing about it is that the manufacturer wants to integrate the Here Auto into the navigation system of the car. This system actually has a legitimate alternative to other navigation options so it can only be great. Different sources declared that the service is included into the navigation system of the car, in the smart phone and a cloud service. The manufacturer suggests that the best way to use Here Auto is with the smart phone companion app. Nokia actually developed it with smart phone connectivity in mind and here it is. We will now offer you further information on the new development. It comes with a trip planner accessed via the companion app on the website. It also comes with turn-by-turn navigation in 95 countries, fuel price listings, voice guidance, parking availability, indoor maps and street-level images when approaching a certain destination. Its best highlight refers to the fact that it can offer voice guided directions no matter if there is mobile covered area or not. Of course, for a precise map update it will need a connection and for traffic and weather as well. The manufacturer is also teaming up with Continental that also works with Google and IBM and is looking for automakers that are willing to integrate their vehicles into the navigation system. This new app is only available on Android and Windows Phone, but this is only for now.
