GM wants a new electric vehicle

We are more than sure you agree that the Tesla Model S had to do a lot to do with electric vehicles. In the same category we can also include the EV1 two-seater developed by General Motors. This last was on a true blast in terms of technology and futuristic design as well in comparison to other products available on the market today. The first information on future plans of the American company came from Doug Parks, the vice president of global product programs from GM. It seems that there is a battery test facility in Michigan according to different reports from different specialists. According to the carmaker itself, the model will be capable of obtaining 200 mile one-charge autonomy and will be fully electric. The price was established to start at $30.000. The engineers took care of everything and offered current technology. The carmaker is now waiting for the prices to decrease. This is why their project will be more feasible. The problem now remains the price of the electric technology, but this will be rectified soon, according to the carmaker. It seems that Tesla uses simpler packaging methods. Just for information, the battery packs cost from half to a quarter of what the mainstream names will be displayed. There are a lot of ways these packs can fails despite the complex setups. The good news is that this never happened so far. There are not details regarding the introduction of the new electric vehicle, but chances are the American specialists will start selling their new 200-mile range EV within the next three to four years.
