Honda Mobilio concept revealed

Honda is a company built on dreams which inspire the people working there to create innovative products which are meant to bring benefit to society and its mobility. One of these sorts of dreams has been set recently in the form of a concept. It is called the Honda Mobilio concept and it has just been presented at the Indonesia International Motor Show.

The Honda Mobilio is a prototype of what is to be a Multi-Purpose Vehicle, specially created for the Asian markets, so the place of the presentation is no surprise in these conditions. Somehow, the Mobilio resembles the Civic Tourer, borrowing elements such as the plain exterior with a single bar grille, sweptback headlights and a floating roof. The manufacturer has also taken some features from the Honda Odyssey, too.  We mean by this the lightning-bolt beltline and the seven seat configuration.

The Honda Mobilio steps a little bit beyond the MPV status, having a crossover-like ground clearance that helps it adjust to the local road and weather conditions. The Mobilio is powered by a 1.5 liter i-VTEC four cylinder petrol engine. The Honda Mobilio will be Honda's first model to be introduced in the lower priced MPV category, which is the best-selling category in the automobile market in Indonesia and comes to meet the customer’s needs. No other information is available yet.
