Infiniti wants to offer diesel bigger cars

Japanese carmaker Infiniti managed to develop a new lineup of models which have been especially designed for the North American market as here customers always ask for a specific type of car. The Japanese company appeared on the US market back in 2008 and ever since, they had a lot of success, in Europe at least. Here the FX SUV is not a strange thing to see on the streets. According to different sources, the carmaker plans to expand its global appeal. Actually they will change the specifics of each model. The president of the brand made a very interesting and real remark which referred to the fact that people would not be interested in mid-sized sedans in Europe, if a smaller capacity diesel is not one of the options. We can offer as an example, there is the 2.2-liter unit that the engineers have offered to power the Q50. The V6 unit can not be used as an entry-level model here, of course and we are sure you agree. This year, at the 2013 edition of the Frankfurt Motor show we had the opportunity to see the concept version of the Q30 hatchback which indicates the trend of the year. In order for customers to be interested in Infiniti models, the carmaker will have to make a decision and introduce bigger cars. Infiniti has offered a new model that will compete with the Audi A8, just to spice things us a little. For now, the brand is still thinking about producing an extended range concept sports car, but for now, it is only in their mind. Unfortunately there are no other models available on this matter, but we will have some news from the Japanese carmaker soon.
