2015 Ford F-Series lineup revised

America’s truck leader, Ford, has just presented its last F-Series model at State Fair of Texas.  The 2015 F-Series Super Duty lineup version comes now with new technological and design updates. It is not easy to improve the most popular heavy-duty pickup but the Ford Motor Company has realized it.

The first 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel that had its debut in 2011 comes now with an improved second edition mill. The Ford officials have not revealed yet the performances of the new engine but they showed some of its innovations that include a better turbo responsiveness that means more torque provided to the wheels in a shorter time period, improved performance and efficiency and also reduced noise and vibration. One of the major improvements it’s a larger GT37 turbocharger. So the old 64 millimeters turbocharger GT32 is replaced by the 72.5 millimeters one that assures more intake airflow to the engine. The results a lifted power that surely will be quite more that the precedent 400 horsepower and 800 lb.-ft. of torque.

Among the multitude of the Ford Power Stroke diesel updates we can also remind the reengineered six-speed 6R140 TorqShift gearbox with a new torque convertor, a four-layer exhaust manifold gasket, new polymer coating on main bearings, piston assembly upgrades and a better crankshaft fillet design.

Towing and hauling capabilities come now in maximum range along with the 2015 Ford F-450. The top F-Series Super Duty pickup truck lineup gets the same chassis core and components like the F-Series Super Duty models but what comes in addition makes the difference. Stronger steering gears, steering linkage, upgraded rear driveline U-joints and suspension components that include new rear leaf springs, front and rear stabilizer bars and shocks are just some of these improvements.

The 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty King Ranch edition receives a fresh look and combines elements of Texas-inspired luxury and Ford capability. Exterior updates include the new, darker Caribou paint for the wheel lip moldings, bumpers and lower body. The bed rail caps, bumper caps and running boards feature now a black appearance. So, if you are a fan, this seems the perfect car to drive.
