The next Nissan GT-R gets hybrid

Any Nissan car is believed to be an important symbol of freedom, status and personal achievement. The Japanese company always keeps thinking of different ways to delight as many persons as possible. With their cars the power comes from the inside. The latest news coming from the brand is that the next generation Nissan GT-R (R36) will feature the hybrid technology developed by Williams Advanced Engineering.

The news regarding the collaboration with Williams Advanced Technology does nothing else but to confirm the rumors according to which Nissan is planning to hybridize the super GT-R.  The new generation of the supercar is expected to have the debut in the final part of 2015 as a 2016 year model. It is supposed to feature cylinder deactivation and stop/start systems to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Until 2015 when the future GT-R model will come out, we have to enjoy the following Nissan Nismo GT-R version which is about to be introduced. Nissan is targeting to turn the GT-R Nismo into the fastest accelerating production car in the world. Well, when first hearing this, one should probably think it is impossible to beat supercars such as the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport or the Ariel Atom 500. But reflecting a while at the Japanese company’s performances during its history, nothing is impossible. The 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo should reach 100km/ h in exactly 2 seconds. The supercar will be introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show in November.
