Audi Q1 planned for 2016

The four rings brand is one of the most famous in the world. Audi is a complex company having everything a successful car manufacturer needs and it is present in the most important auto markets. The company is continuously working on new projects and they are currently preparing the Audi Q1 which is going to be introduced as a 2016 model.  The crossover is rumoured to be based on the Volkswagen Polo. It will be 3.8 meters (12.4 feet) long and it will have "generous ground clearance."

There is no word yet regarding the engine configurations for the 2016 Audi Q1. There are great chances to see a 1.4-liter TFSI and a 1.4 TDI generating 90 HP (66 kW). There could also be a range-topping SQ1 producing 231 HP (170 kW) as well as a hybrid version with a 1.2-liter petrol engine and a 109 HP (80 kW) electric motor. If all these come true, the Q1 might be priced around €20,000 ($27,050 / £16,695). However, by 2016 there’s still a long way to go and many unexpected things might show up.
