In approximately one month, in Las Vegas, a lot of carmakers will show their new developments in terms of automotive industry at the SEMA show. Different rumors indicate that Hyundai will be there as well and will present the Genesis Coupe model capable of generating 1.000 horsepower, but also a specially made EGR Night Racer concept that has as base the Hyundai Veloster Turbo you already know, for sure. This last model is the result of a partnership between the EGR Group and aftermarket accessory supplier. Now, the reason the carmaker developed it refers to time attack races at night racing circuits. As you can see in the photo gallery, the model comes with a very powerful yellow paint scheme dubbed Yellowcake. Different experts from Barry Speed Shop and PPG have worked a lot to obtain the perfect nuance. Engineers have offered a Wurton roof-mounted LED light bar and also special headlights that are perfect for night racing circuits. Besides the exterior and interior appearance, the carmaker offered a lot of other elements. The body of the unit is more rigid, the ride height comes with ARK coil-over suspension and AEM strut brace. The 1.6-liter unit is now capable of generating up to 250 horsepower and to handle this amount of power, the engineers have offered gigantic Brembo brakes, DPE 3-piece racing wheels and Tony semi-slick racing tires to control the vehicle. This model is a great example of it can be done with a car, of course if the owner is a powerful enthusiast.
