Mini offers new engines for a new hatchback

Soon, we will have the opportunity to see the all-new Mini hatchback on the market available for sale. As a pre-launch treat, the carmaker has decided it was time for them to offer us several details on the upcoming model. The main attraction refers to the engine that will empower the vehicle. The engineers have thought about improving the balance between fuel consumption and the feeling the car has to offer while behind the wheel. This is what the carmaker is planning to obtain, now we will soon see if it will be possible or not. The new Mini hatchback will use 3- and 4-cylinder engines which will work according to the desire of the manufacturer in terms of performance, reliability and, of course, comfort and output. The specialists have confirmed the 1.5-liter of the 3-cylinder unit, but also the 2.0-liter unit if 4-cylinder engine. So that you know, both will be twin-supercharged and will come with direct injection which most definitely will be found in the Mini Cooper S. Again, we do have to wait for the official information that will be released when the new generation will be launched. The carmaker did say their models will continue to be very agile in terms of handling and sporty as well, now with the introduction of the electrically adjustable dampers. This generation is the first to have them, as a matter of fact. Engineers say that the dampers can be activated by simply pressing a button for adjustment, which is quite impressive. More details will be released in the near future, so do not go very far.
