Audi Q3 promised for the U.S. market

The four rings brand is one of the top and, at the same time, one of the most famous car producers in the world. Starting with SUVs, sedans, coupes they’ve got everything a respectable company needs. One of the politics of Audi is to be present in as many markets as possible and to conquer them. And according to the German chiefs they are considering to introduce the Audi Q3 in the United States.

The Audi Q3 is a representative crossover for the German company and it successfully faces the opponents in its segment. The vehicle will be introduced in the U.S. only after it receives a facelift. It is planned to debut in a year or two and one of its objectives is to battle against the BMW X1 and the Mercedes GLA, two of the most fearful enemies. The facelift model that should come in the future will be submitted to a number of changes that will classify it as a “light truck”.

The Audi Q3 destined for the U.S. will probably borrow the engine configurations from the European version. This means that power might come from a 2.0-liter TSFI engine producing 170 HP (125 kW) and 211 HP (155 kW), or from a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine that generates 310 HP (228 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque. This last version allows the CUV to sprint from stand point to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and to reach an electronically limited maximum speed of 250 km/h (155mph).
