Hyunsai and Nissan are late with their payments

You probably know already that the US is now experiencing the third day of government shutdown. This critic situation has several consequences like, for example, non-essential federal services and agencies are now closed, which means that more than 800.000 people have been sent home on unpaid lave, which is never a good thing. Because of the situation, there are carmakers that have thought about helping federal workers. For example, Hyundai Motor America made an essential announcement which involves the launch of a new payment deferral program. This will help the employees surpass the unpleasant situation that it is now in North America. Current Hyundai owners will receive relief from payments for long as they are without work. Also, the ones interested in purchasing a car this month will be offered a 90-day payment deferral. This new program was developed for customers which have financed their purchases through Hyundai Finance America, so if you are one of them, good news. Hyundai is now taking care of its employees thanks to the Hyundai Assurance, according to president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America, John Krafcik. Japanese manufacturer Nissan is also thinking about developing a similar program that will offer a standard extension of payments up to 90 days for purchases through Nisan Motor Acceptance Corporation. The program can help customers that are in a financial crisis and when they can not do anything about it. This program was developed for these times, according to president NMAC, Mark Kaczynski.
