Alfa Romeo 4C gets updated

The Italian brand Alfa Romeo worked on a compact super car which represents the true essence of a sports car, according to the brand's values: performance, Italian style and technical excellence aimed at maximum driving pleasure in total safety. This car is the Alfa Romeo 4C whose concept has been presented at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. The supercar is what we might call perfect.

Although the Alfa Romeo 4C has been introduced just a little time ago, the company has already decided to do some updates. The supercar will get new headlights inspired from the 2011 concept. This might come after a series of negative comments regarding the car’s looks, which though are awesome, could have been better, more in the spirit of an Alfa Romeo vehicle. Marco Tencone is the leader of the team that has had the job of designing the 4C and he has just confirmed the rumour according to which the headlights will be modified.

Alfa Romeo is currently developing a more powerful variant of the 4C and of a Targa derivative which will have updated headlights and a new interior. The engine powering the standard 4C generates   237 bhp (177 kW). It is expected that the updated 4C will produce at least 266 bhp (198 kW). It will be based on a track-only 4C Racing which is now being under development. Anyway, the Alfa Romeo remains one of the most powerful brands in the world and nobody can dispute that.
