Aston Martin Lagonda receives another chance

The three elements that define Aston Martin as a company are beauty, soul and power and these make it a top brand. Every car that they create respects the most rigorous requests and with every model they try to surpass themselves. One of these car models is the Aston Martin Lagonda. This vehicle started as a luxury four-door saloon and it was manufactured between 1974 and 1990. A total number of 645 vehicles were produced. Now, the British officials decided it’s high time to revive the Lagonda.

The Aston Martin Lagonda will be brought back to life, that’s for sure. What is uncertain, however, is the time when this will happen. The new Lagonda will have a different destination. It will try to hit the SUV market, which is constantly expanding, so it will certainly be a difficult job to accomplish. An attempt of resurrecting the vehicle has been made in 2009 when the company presented a Lagonda concept at the Geneva Motor Show.

Lamborghini, Maserati, Bentley and even Rolls Royce, according to the latest rumours, are preparing SUV models and this might have changed the traditional Aston Martin view upon the car markets, company that we know doesn’t “make utility” cars. The Aston Martin Lagonda won’t be the type of an SUV that can carry your fridge home from the shop. It will certainly represent the Aston Martin values. As for us, we can’t wait to see the British SUV on the road or at least in a showroom or an auto show.
