The new Hyundai Genesis Sedan has been spotted

Hyundai enthusiasts and fans are now waiting for more details on the new model the carmaker is about to release. We are here talking, of course, about the 2014 Hyundai Genesis saloon. We had the opportunity to see a rendering a few months ago, but it is now time to see the real thing. The model was spied with no camouflage what so ever in South Korea. You can take a look at it in the photo gallery we have prepared for you. Nothing is for sure, but it is likely the South Korean domestic market version of the new Genesis. Just because of the current model, we do not expect any major changes when it comes to the North American version of the model. This one in particular will be released for the first time at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2014, according to the carmaker. As you can see, the carmaker made a lot of effort to modify the design of the model as the new Genesis sedan has a more distinct look thanks to the styling cues which we saw at the 2013 edition of the Detroit Motor Show on the HCD-14 Concept. Moving on, we can also see new details like the regular rear-wheel drive editions. This is actually the first time the new Genesis sedan will come equipped with all-wheel drive as optional. Under the hood, the model will come with a 3.8-liter V6 Lambda engine, but also as optional, with a 5.0-liter V8 Tau engine. This last one has been modified to deliver more power and improved fuel economy for all the ones interested in owning one of these bad boys. Nothing is for sure, but the carmaker might also produce a hybrid and a diesel version of the model.
