The next CEO of GM only wants good cars from now on

American company General Motors started its activity back in 1908 and ever since, the specialists have managed to have a great ascension. In reality they have continued to grow continuously which brought them a lot of money. Everything changed once the financial crisis started and people lost a lot of money, their jobs and so the capability of purchasing new cars. This is when the company started loosing a lot of money. They have been forced to make a big restructuration inside the company and Mary Barra was a part of it. The woman managed to occupy a lot of positions inside the company and did a really good job for that matter. Here comes her reward as she is now nominated as one of the prime candidates to run the whole of General Motors. She now is in the role of global product development. Just this section is worth an estimated $15 billion, which is quite an impressive amount. The woman declared that she had a lot to do with the fact that the company is coming out of the crisis which started back in 2008, she also said that her approach helped with the reaching of the goals for now. The General Motors specialists started with trying to change the culture after the bankruptcy and bailout period. In this direction she tried to eliminate the bad cars, the ones that are not fit for purpose and mainly all the ones that offered a lot of disappointments. Of course, as expected the responsibilities she has are very high just because she needs to appreciate and allocate the development budgets for the new models. This decision does not have to reflect on the quality of the products and she is now doing its best.
