2014 Civic and Civic Si Coupes presented at SEMA

Las Vegas is the hotspot of the moment in the auto field. It’s the place where SEMA is taking place. The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more. Among the cars presented there, we can find the 2014 Civic and Civic Si Coupes.

The Honda Civic coupe is equipped with new bumpers, an updated hood and a restyled grille. The model also receives new front fenders, revised mirrors and updated head and taillights. The Si Coupe gets the same things. However, it features an updated front bumper, a rear diffuser, a trunk-mounted spoiler and a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels which make it more special than the other Hondas. The 2014 Civic Coupe features sportier exterior styling while the 2014 Civic Si boosts fun-to-drive performance with more horsepower. So they both bring something new to the Honda fleet.

Too many details regarding the powering units have not been offered yet. Still, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine might produce 205 bhp (153 kW) and 174 lb-ft (235 Nm) of torque which represents a modest upgrade of 4 bhp (3 kW) and 4 lb-ft (5 Nm). Honda turns its attention to the Civic Coupe and Coupe Si, implementing a number of exterior design changes that bring more aggressiveness to the coupes. More details about the full 2014 Civic lineup will be made available at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show.
