Lamborghini Cabrera rendered

Founded in 1963, Automobili Lamborghini, the company headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, in Northeastern Italy, celebrates 50 years of existence. Along these years they have been manufacturing the most wanted and innovative cars and they are now working on the project of a future vehicle which will possibly be named the Lamborghini Cabrera. This will replace the Gallardo and, of course, will have more up-to-date features.

Since Lamborghini has a lot of fans, suppositions on how the Cabrera could look like keep being spread. Many fans or experts have recently come up with digital illustration of the Lamborghini Cabrera which is said to replace the Gallardo model. The expected moment of the official presentation is still unknown. What is certain is that it will be released for the market sale in 2014. The vehicle could be influenced by its relatives, the Aventador and the Sesto Elemento. So it will be a vehicle worth of its name.

It is expected that the Lamborghini Cabrera will be powered by a V10 5.2 liter engine that will produce at least 610 HP (448 kW) and almost 575 Nm (424 lb-ft) of torque. The supercar should tip the scales at around 2,887 lbs (1,309 kg) and sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds. It will have a four-wheel drive system and a 7 speed dual-clutch gearbox. By the end of the year, we’ve still got a few important auto shows and one of them might be proud to host the official presentation of the future Lamborghini. Till then fans can only imagine the perfection of the Cabrera.
