ABT Sportsline to compete in Formula E next year

Germany is the most active and challenging stage in the auto field with a tough competition between brands and tuning companies at the same time.  So Germany is the country that has it all when it comes to automobiles and car components.  The only way to survive is to be the best. ABT Sportsline is one of the most successful German tuning companies that can face every possible challenge. They have realized a great number of tuning programs so far, especially on Audi cars. So, why not give it another try in the Formula E competition? This is certainly their new aim: to compete in the inaugural season of the Formula E championship in 2014.

You don’t have to be a genius to suppose what the E in Formula E stands for. The competition is especially dedicated to electric vehicles. Ten teams will enter the competition and ABT Sportsline should be even prouder as they are the only company to represent Germany in the contest. The team that is hardly preparing for the challenge is headed by Principal Hans-Jürgen Abt. He states that there might be two vehicles running the circuits. Both on them will be Audi based and of course that the four rings brand is going to offer as much support as they can.

The Formula E will start its first season in September 2014. The electric vehicles will compete on more tracks which are set in different parts of the world. The cars will pay a visit to Beijing, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Uruguay, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Miami, Monaco, Berlin and London. Everything, the practice, the qualifying session and the proper race will be taking place just in one day. So ABT Sportsline is tackling a new challenge in motorsport and we hope they have full success.
