SRT Viper colour contest has a winner

Street & Racing Technology (commonly called SRT) is a high-performance automobile group within Chrysler LLC.  SRT produces vehicles for the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brands. Not long ago, the company launched a contest for the fans. The task was to give a name to the new exterior paint scheme that covers the new 2014 SRT Viper.

By taking part in this contest, everyone got the opportunity to win a trip to the 2014 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona International Speedway in January next year as a VIP guest of SRT Motorsports. The persons attracted to this idea entered the contest by subscribing at www.driveSRT.com and inserting the name they thought to be the most appropriate for SRT's new Viper paintjob. The proposals were accepted until 24th October. The voting was organized between 4 and 11 November.

SRT received more than 11,000 proposals but the winner is Patryk Skarzynski from Chicago. He entitled the paint the "Competition Blue" and although there were more persons who had the same idea, he was the first to send it. SRT did half of the job. They chose three finalists. And the public did the other half. They chose the winner. The fifth generation of iconic American-built supercar returned in 2013 as the SRT (Street and Racing Technology) brand’s flagship performance machine with more power and performance, superior craftsmanship, new technologies and creature comforts.
