Cadillac ATS Coupe planned

Cadillac ATS is a name that we haven’t heard about for a long time now. Founded more than one hundred years ago in Detroit, its producer, Cadillac was and still is the automotive expression of the American dream. It combines great performance, daring design and ultimate technology. So why not put those three together to revive and spread the ATS model?

Cadillac is having great plans that regard introducing a 2015 year model Cadillac ATS Coupe. This is supposed to happen at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next year. The coupe will be more traditional than its relative the CTS. However, it will resemble pretty much the sedan version. The new Caddy might be introduced by the beginning of 2014. Hopefully, there will be some news before it arrives.

The 2015 Cadillac is going to borrow the engine configurations of the sedan. So we might see a 2.5-liter four-cylinder producing 202 bhp (150 kW), a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder generating 272 bhp (203 kW) and a 3.6-liter V6 developing 321 bhp (239 kW) and 275 lb-ft (373 Nm) of torque. The manufacturer could also introduce the ATS-V Coupe with a new twin-turbo 3.2-liter V6 that outputs more than 500 bhp (373 kW). We might get to see a more aggressive vehicle staring the NAIAS.
