Wiesmann breaths again

Wiesmann was for some time the leading manufacturer of puristic sports cars. The name is well established in the luxury market and there are more than a thousand good reasons for that: Until today more than 1,500 handcrafteded cars left the Wiesmann factory. The company currently uses dealership bases in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. With a bit of luck you might not only spot a Wiesmann in Germany but also on the Champs Elysées in Paris or in front of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

Despite the past success of the Weismann brand, there were some rumours according to which financial problems were placing the company in a difficult position. They turned out to be true when the Weismann officials filled a bankruptcy application in the court. The good news is that now, the same officials have gone back to the court and asked to dismiss the preceding paper. On 16th December a future plan will be developed to help the company.

The latest Wiesmann product is the GT MF4-CS created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the firm. It was presented back in March at the Geneva Motor Show and it came out as a limited edition. Only 25 units were produced and their price started at 193,193.28 EUR. Each Wiesmann vehicle combines timeless design and modern technology and hopefully the Germans will soon produce another jewel for the public.
