Lexus plans a LF-LC based model

Lexus is by all means a name associated with quality, luxury and superior customer satisfaction. The brand reputation grew fast until Lexus became America's best-selling line of luxury motor vehicles. Lexus belongs to the global Toyota family, whose members together constitute the world's third-leading automaker. Everything they do, they try to do perfect. At the beginning of 2012, on the occasion of the Detroit Motor Show, the company has introduced the stunningly beautiful Lexus LF-LC Concept.

Lexus needed quite a time to prepare a production version based on the LF-LC concept. A halo model is currently on work and very soon a production model will be released. The future vehicle is desired to be above the recently introduced Lexus RC, but cheaper than the LFA. The most important plan of the company for the moment is launching an entire level of F products, with the LFA sitting at the top of it.

The previewing Lexus LF-LC Concept was presented in January 2012 at NAIAS wearing a red paintwork and a few months later it came up at AIMS with an Opal Blue scheme. It is a hybrid 2+2 coupe that is equipped with an Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive consisting of an Atkinson-cycle combustion engine and a high-energy battery pack, developing a combined output of 500 hp (372 kW). Well, more information will come if this gets into production.
