BMW M3 imagined by X-Tomi Design

The automobile field is one with millions of fans worldwide and this is a sure thing. Well, we can divide these fans into two categories, the ones who just admire the latest vehicles wondering where the concept idea came and the ones who not only analyze the existing cars but also use their imagination to design the way next models could possibly look like. X-Tomi Design is a group of passionate designers from the last category. They grasped the public’s attention with their recent project, a 2014 BMW M3 in Touring guise.

Chances of BMW creating a Touring version of the M3 are pretty low now. This, however, is not an impediment for imagination. And X-Tomi Design presents us the wagon treatment they have imagined for the BMW M3. This project could be a new idea for BMW, as their opponents already have such models in their fleet. And we are talking here about the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Touring and the Audi RS4 Avant.

As a reminder, the BMW M3 is powered by an inline-six TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter engine high-revving that generates 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft). This enables the vehicle to sprint the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 4.1 seconds when it is equipped with the optional seven-speed M DCT. BMW branded vehicles are usually good-looking cars and X-Tomi Design keeps this feature in their project which looks just fine.
