Seat plans a crossover for 2016

Seat presents a range of cars that deliver the thrilling combination of superior engineering and pure enjoyment. Founded more than 60 years ago, it is a dynamic, design driven, young spirited brand constantly seeking to create new levels of quality car enjoyment. And this is what the people working for the Spanish automaker are trying to do with the new planned Seat crossover.

The crossover segment in the auto field is at its peak and it seems to attract more and more fans. So every important car manufacturer has such a thing in their fleet. Seat made clear the intentions of building a crossover which is currently codenamed Seat Tribu. Accord to the pictures released by the company, the Tribu is greatly influenced by its relative, the Seat Leon. The vehicle features a sculpted hood, a prominent character line and LED headlights. It also has plastic body cladding and squared off wheel arches.

The future coming Seat crossover will borrow a variety of four-cylinder engines from the current SEAT lineup. It sits on a MQB platform and regarding the size, it will be about the dimensions of the Nissan Qashqai and the Kia Sportage. It will most likely be introduced as a 2016 year model, as testing are still running. Till then, Seat will offer its public a new off- road Leon ST X-perience sometimes next summer. We’ll wait for some other news.
