Ford is doing great in terms of sales since recession

Despite the fact that US is now confronting with terrible cold weather which has affected sales in the automotive industry, 2013 remains the best sales year since the start of the recession in 2008. In comparison to 2012, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler as well have reported great sale figures in 2013. For 2013 was in fact that best year in terms of sales since 2006. The carmaker reported they have delivered 2.412.224 vehicles which means sales have increased by 14% for the manufacturer. Chrysler sold 1.8 million which represents a 9% growth. GM increased by 7%, selling 2.8 million units. 2013 was not a bad year for either. The carmaker managed to sell 2.235.042 vehicles in North America increasing sales by 9.4 %. Next on the list we have Hyundai who sold 720.783 units in 2013. Their sales department improved the level of cars sold by 2.5%. Audi is also on this list with improving their sales segment by 13.5% selling 158.061 units last year. Towards the end of the list we have Mercedes-Benz who sold 312.534 units increasing the number by 14%. A great activity comes from Jaguar Land Rover as they have improved their figures by 20% by selling 66.962 units last year. Honda is expecting to deliver more vehicles as well, sales increasing by 4.1%, which is not a lot, but it is still something. The market had a great end of 2013 as carmaker managed to sell around 15.8 units.
