Volkswagen CrossBlue promised for 2016

Volkswagen has an amazing history at the background in the auto field. It is one of the most famous and loved brands in Europe and maybe in the world too. The German company produces vehicles for everyone. Accessible vehicles aim to the middle class society, but there are also more luxurious cars for the ones with high incomes. Volkswagen CrossBlue is the concept f a vehicle that will especially aim for U.S.A. and Canada.

The Volkswagen CrossBlue concept has been introduced exactly one year ago, at the NAIAS event. In the very same place, the Volkswagen CEO announced today that we will have a production version of the crossover by 2016, the year when it is planned to enter mass production. It will come with a seven-seat arrangement and will ride on VW's MQB platform so this can mean only one thing: a wide variety of engines, including four-cylinder diesels for United States.

Among the powertrains for the Volkswagen CrossBlue, there could also be a plug-in hybrid system, the same that the Golf receives this year. The CUV will be manufactured in the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture in a whole new factory headquartered in Changsha in Hunan Province. Once production begins 300,000 units will be made each year. The car will be a modern one which will surely attract many customers.
