Porsche 911 Targa staring the NAIAS

The very hearing of the word Porsche and your thoughts fly towards art. Because this is what Porsche is, a different form of expression. That’s exactly why none of the Porsche vehicles can be named common. They are unique products. The NAIAS, which is currently taking place in Detroit, host a multitude of super cars. A star among them is the Porsche 911 Targa.

The Porsche 911 Targa is a glance at the past. It revives the original model that was launched quite a long time ago, in 1965. The officials presented the process of opening and closing the supercar’s roof. It needs 19 seconds to do both processes. The entire procedure takes place by simply pressing a button which is found inside the vehicle. This roof modification can be done only when the car is stationary.

The 2014 Porsche 911 Targa will be available only with all-wheel drive so possible clients will have to choose between the Targa 4 and Targa 4S. The first one starts at 101,600 USD and is powered by a 350 bhp 3.4-liter 6-cylinder engine while the last one is priced at 116,200 USD and is powered by a 400 bhp 3.8-liter 6-cylinder unit. The model is supposed to enter sales this summer.
