Porsche Pajun back in discussion

Porsche means one thing for sure: uniqueness. Every sports car they manufacture is different from any other sports cars existent on the market. Creating a car signifies true art, each one of them having an own story, an own ideal and special characteristics. The German brand is so well developed that although the name of Porsche can be associated to anything but low fuel consumption, it managed to demolish this myth once they have introduced the new 2014 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid. Not long after that, the Turbo S version of the same vehicle has also been introduced. And now the German officials are highly considering introducing a new model, ranged below the Panamera.

Some time ago, Porsche had in mind developing the Porsche Pajun, which is in fact a Panamera Junior, and it seems the project is back in discussion. The smaller Panamera is supposed to battle its co-nationals, the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. This will be a sustained effort for the company which has already spent a lot of resources for building the Macan.

Back in 2011 when the first rumours about the Panamera Pajun appeared, it was estimated at 60,000 EUR.  Its looks were supposed to be exactly like the one of the Panamera, except everything would have been built on a smaller scale. If it gets to reach production the first thing that will happen will be to receive another name. And it will probably ride on the MSB platform developed by Volkswagen, the same used on the future Panamera, Bentley and Phaeton.
