The engine lineup for the 2014 Mercedes Benz C-Class was carefully detailed in the German media. The company has taken the wraps of their new C-Class in December 2013 and the vehicle will be available with the following gasoline powered engine choices:
C400 4MATIC - six-cylinder 3.0 liter with an output of 333 HP (245 kW) and a 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) peak torque , 7.8 liters / 100 km, 178 g/km
C 350 HYBRID Plug-In - 2.0-liter with an output of 211 HP (155 kW) and a 350 Nm (258 lb-ft)peak torque , a 50 kW electric motor, 3 liters / 100 km
C300 - 2.0-liter with an output of 238 HP (175 kW) and a 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) peak torque , 6.3 liters / 100 km, 143 g/km
C200 4MATIC - 2.0-liter with an output of 183 HP (135 kW) and a 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) peak torque, 6.4 liters / 100 km, 150 g/km
C200 - 2.0-liter with an output of 183 HP (135 kW) and a 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) peak torque, 6.4 liters / 100 km, 120 g/km

All of the above will be available during this year with only one exception; the C300 BlueTEC HYBRID will only be launched in 2015. Next year, Mercedes also has plans to introduce the C63 which will use a twin-turbo V8 4.0 liter with an estimated output between 450 HP and 500+ HP.
