The BMW officials have decided to introduce some updates on a few models that are going to be manufactured this year. The 2 series coupe will receive two new diesels. The 218d Coupe receives a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel unit that generates 143 HP (105 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, while the 225d Coupe provides more output of 218 HP (160 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.
The 3 Series Gran Turismo will also gain a new engine configuration. Power will be offered by a new 3.0-liter straight-six diesel engine that outputs 258 HP (190 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the hatchback to sprint from 0-100 km/h in about 5.4 seconds when equipped with an optional all-wheel drive system.
BMW will introduce something new for the 425d Coupe that gets a four-cylinder diesel engine which produces 218 HP (160 kW). The coupe also receives a new 430d xDrive variant and the convertible version will come for the first time as a 428i xDrive. The 4 Series will feature some special accessories, especially unique colour scheme and alloy wheels. Some other upgrades are still in plan. Surely, BMW will keep its leading position.
